I've come a long way in just a few months of being an out-of-Hollywood actor. I've beaten the doctor's prognosis of never being able to run and play again - and I'm doing something with my life.
I've been painting lately. Actually, this time for profit, in my Etsy Store to raise money for a very worthy cause, The West Memphis Three. It took me awhile to read most of the information on the Callahan site, and of course the media is loaded with information, but I've come to my own conclusion on the matter.
Here it is: (dog translation below) Can someone explain to me why are these three people in jail when there is NO I repeat ZIP FACTOR forensic evidence linking them to the case? This country is messed up! Here in the USA justice turns a blind eye all the time! Let's remember the OJ shrunken glove-didn't-fit-acquit victory (sigh) even though he had a huge background of abusing Nicole (sigh) and he gets off scott-free. (good lawyer) Can you say, CIVIL CASE hahahahahahah!!!
Then you have these three guys, whose biggest crime was being misfits. Poor Damien Echols getting the worst of it all. Now, you have three little boys (their killer roams free) who were gruesomely murdered and a very messed up police investigation that was more about swift results than thorough interrogations and work ups of all people or would-be suspects. Not to mention I wish I could call Horatio Caine from CSI and get him to run like-style-murders in the region since the time of these boy's murders. I bet there's more instances out there proving Mr. He-Dune-It-And-Got-Away-Scott-Free is still out there. I can't fathom why the scales of injustice strike yet again, and convict people on THEORY and not EVIDENCE. What ever happened to Innocent Before Proven Guilty?
If the fibers and hair don't' fit, ACQUIT! Oh, that's right, the Legal Beagle tells me that you can't acquit because they've been convicted. However, you can PARDON! You can APOLOGIZE! Then again that would be admitting you've jailed three innocent people for 18 years. Not so good for your resume huh?
Shame on you. I have one thing to say to those who know the real truth in the state of Arkansas
